In line with this point of view, YOUNG50 can be one way to contribute in obtaining Sustainable Development Goals of ensuring healthy lives and promote wellbeing. Through the integration with other health-promoting programs, like implementing physical activity, healthy eating, healthy ageing, it aims to work towards the improvement of many risk factors simultaneously, thus becoming a program that has an inter-disciplinary and holistic approach to public health improvement to achieve sustained success. It is critical that organizations focusing on health are guided not only by the targets under SDG 3 – on health and well-being – but also pursue related targets by using a network mapping approach across all goals. This is essential to ensuring broad action on the numerous and diverse types of health determinants.
