The European Innovation Partnership in Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) promoted on its portal, the publication of the YOUNG50’ first newsletter.
The presence of the YOUNG50 project within the EIP-AHA portal is of considerable importance for the dissemination and visibility of the project itself, as the platform is a communication and information hub for all actors involved in Active and Healthy Ageing through Europe. It is effectively the place to encourage partner engagement, promote news and events, meet and exchange ideas with peers, and look for potential partners on innovative projects.
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are in fact, the leading cause of mortality in the European Union causing over 1.8 million deaths per year (EHN Cardiovascular Disease Statistics) as well as a great loss in potential years of life. Prevention is increasingly playing a key role in reducing mortality linked to CVD.
